Spring clean

  • Cleaning of windows, shutters and front door.
  • Sweeping and mopping of floors, moving furniture to allow thorough cleaning.
  • Painting of small areas of wall that may have damp or where necessary (If whole property needs to be painted, a quote will be forwarded for owners approval.)
  • Cleaning of kitchen including cupboards, fridge and oven, checking all in working order.
  • Washing of crockery, cutlery and glassware. If something is missing, to be replaced and charged.
  • Cleaning of all light fittings and lamps, replacing bulbs as necessary.
  • Cleaning of bathrooms. Removing limescale from taps and tiles.
  • Inspection of state of beds, mattresses, pillows and bedstead.
  • Checking of curtains and washing them if necessary (curtains washed within the property there is no charge). If an external laundry service is required, this is to be charged accordingly.
  • Cleaning of sofas, chairs and cushions (washing covers if necessary)
  • Checking pillows have pillowcases and mattresses have covers.
  • Technical inspection of all mains (electricity, water and gas).

End of season closure

  • Sweeping and mopping of all floors, including under and behind furniture and fridge.
  • Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly including tiles.
  • Cleaning kitchen. Including cupboards, tiles and all household appliances, especially the fridge
  • Thoroughly cleaning the bedrooms, leaving mattresses in vertical position.
  • Storing of pillows and bed linen.
  • Cleaning of outside furniture and internal storage.

Winterization for properties

  • At the outset of winter, check all windows and shutters, making sure that they close properly.
  • Greasing hinges of windows doors and locks.
  • Checking electric system, reading electric meter and disconnecting electricity (except properties with dehumidifier)
  • Checking of taps and water pipes. Turning off the main water supply.
  • Checking gas installation including rubber tube and changing if out of date (the tube is not included in the price)
  • Inspection of internal walls, tiles and roof tiles. Checking there are no damp patches or leaks.
  • Full written report of inspection to be sent to the owner, including recommendations on improvements, if necessary.
